Two weeks ago, I ran my first marathon. Oh, you already knew that? Well, if you noticed my millions of pictures, you could tell that I purchased the photo package. Last time I ordered one of these photo packages, besides the plain images there were also downloads with a digital frame. I had printed one of these larger and put it in a cheap frame because the digital frame basically is the frame in a clear stand.
Fast forward to last week, and I didn't see any of my NYC pictures with the digital frame even though it was listed on my package's receipt. So I reached out to customer service and just asked if I was looking in the wrong place. Turns out, they didn't offer the digital frames for NYC but forgot to remove it from the pre-ordered packages. As an apology, the customer service rep added my finish line video.
Seriously... The finish line video was an extra $20 and I didn't buy it, but because I simply asked where to look for the frames, they sent it to me for free. Totally not expecting it but I cried happy tear watching it. The video has a montage of three different videos. I could see at the 40KM video I was walking, forcing myself to keep going because I was in pain but then near the finish line I speed up and raised my arms in triumph as I crossed the line.
Thank you MarathonFoto for sending me the video. I truly wasn't expecting it but it really just made my day and brought me back to that magical moment at mile 26.2. I'm not sure if I'm going to share the whole video yet. I know I just admitted that I walked for a bit, but I don't think I actually want to share that. However here is the actual finish line.
