There are tons of marathons hosted every year across the country and even the world. Today, Boston announced that their marathon will be canceled for 2021. Boston is normally in the spring (April) while NYC is in the fall (November) so being a few months earlier, they would obviously need to make a decision sooner. However, seeing the news today doesn't encourage me about NYC 2021.
At least I know that American Cancer Society will get me into NYC eventually when it comes back. So for now, I'm still planning and training for 2021, but it might realistically be 2022 at this point. Who knows?
