Seriously, it was below freezing last night but I was tired of making excuses. So I put on some thermal layers, added my new vest and chest light, and went out. IT WAS COLD. Worse? I slipped on some black ice on the sidewalk coming up Midvale. Don't worry though, I'm alright.
Am I reflective enough now?
I really don't want to keep making excuses but it's hard to run when it's this cold. I can't do treadmills because I get dizzy. That's not an excuse, it's a fact.
So what can I do? Well... Get more layers, look down more to avoid ice, and maybe run at different times to find when it's safest to be out. That's my goal now.
