Standing in front of the real statue. |
Last year, I created an image that combined the love statue in Philadelphia with a stick figure shape of a runner. Since I'm still new to vector art (and art in general), I used a real picture of the love statue and did a line trace for the letters. I then erased the O and downloaded a vector image of a runner from
Vecteezy, a search engine of royalty free vector art. I modified the runner to fit with the rest of the design. To give it the shadow effect, i copy and pasted the image before shifting the top layer and changing the color of the bottom layer. When all was said and done, I was proud of my final design.

My original idea image |
When
Sticker Mule was running one of their great promotions, I ordered 50 stickers and was surprised that others liked my design as much as I did. So now I decided to take the image a step further.
I've started looking at some promotional websites that sell merchandise with your logo. I think something that might be popular is a portable phone charger. When I looked at pricing from a few popular companies, power banks (phone chargers) range from $2.50 to $10 depending on the size and quantity purchased. So I've reached out with my AI file and goals. I'm looking to buy 100 chargers and sell them for a minimum $5 donation each. Now to see if I can find a vendor that will allow me a lower quantity for the $2.50 price.
